Overview:

A.H. Beck was selected to install four – Heavy Weather Mooring piers at Naval Station Mayport, Jacksonville, FL. These large, heavily reinforced shafts, each 96” x 100 ft shafts were installed using polymer slurry to stabilize the shaft excavations through silts, sandy soils. The work was performed on an active wharf for the U. S. NAVFAC.
